I felt like the tech was more concerned setting up a new furnance estimate followup then actually finding the problem. First thing said was my furnance has seen better days mainly because it was old. Don't get me wrong, the young man was courteous and appeared to check it out.
Preformed heating and cooling check.
Searched for signs of water. Counldnt find any evidence of water leaking from furnace or humidifier. Spot that customer indicated had water had dried up. Changed filter and humidifier pad.

Unit was failing to sense flame due to the burners being rusty. Removed burners to clean. Unit is back up and running. Filter was very dirty, changed it out. Blower wheel is pretty dirty. Doesnâ€™t seem be be an issue right now. Explained to customer that it could become an issue in the future if they donâ€™t keep filter change and wheel gets dirtier.
Replaced canister for steam humidifier and tested functionality.
Checked out unit. Only issue found was a dirty flame sensor. Cleaned sensor and unit is working.

Return visit to install inducer motor under parts warranty. Replaced filter. Replaced water panel.

Inducer motor failed. Replaced motor. Checked combustion analysis. Had to condemn unit due to excessive amount of carbon monoxide. Setting up an estimate tomorrow 11-1 for a new furnace. Removed new motor to bring back.

Inducer motor didnâ€™t have a good connection with the power supply due to heavy build up of dust in the system. Brushed off the dust and system fired up. Problem occurred from a lack of maintenance. System is also cutting out on limit due to a dirty system. Customer would like to get an estimate for a new unit.
Checked AC system for damage after it had been backed into with a vehicle. Only damage was to side panel. Ordering a new one from RE Michel. Only other comment is the outside coil needs cleaned. Please contact the customer Katie when panel arrives to set up appointment for replacement of panel.
