I was very pleased with the professionalism, expertise, and quality of the service technicians. They cleaned my air ducts and installed my air purifier in a very timely manner.
When I made the call to Grogg's about the problems I was having with my air conditioner, I was certain I was not going to receive good news. Ben explained all of the possible problems that I could have. After working on my air unit, it was decided that the best option was to purchase a new system after 25 years of use. I felt as though Ben had thoroughly discussed all of the possible pros/cons of replacing vs. keeping my old system.
Tech explained everything he was doing, and went over everything when he was finished with the job. Very friendly tech.

Service Call Platinum Client: fan motor locked up on ac unit (~18yo). got fan motor to break loose and checked capacitor. capacitor is within range, but fan motor has a grinding noise to it. furnace is ~43yo. cooling is only putting out 75⁰ air. spoke with customer about maintenance and new system. scheduled estimate for tomorrow between 9-11am. signed up for maintenance plan to take care of new equipment.
Service Call Platinum Client: system was low on r410. found that Schrader core was leaking. replaced leaky core and added ~3lb of r410. after charging the system, ran leak detector again and found no leak in lineset or either coil. signed up for new cozy plus maintenance program and performed cooling maintenance check.
Service Call Fee: Air conditioner is low on refrigerant. Spoke with customer about cost of repair and for finding a leak.. After discussion customer has opted to go with just refrigerant today. there is evidence of leak in suction line braze joint at the air conditioner. she has a home warranty that she's dealing with, and is going to find out if they will cover the repair and call us back.
Service Call Platinum Client: dead capacitor was not allowing the compressor or fan to come on. board had is own issues per previous technician. intermittently kicks the inducer motor on, changes fan speeds mid cooling cycle even though it is a single stage. quoted new board
Service Call Platinum Client: 17yo ac with 11yo furnace. evaporator coil drain pan has rusted all the way through and has been for quite some time. water and rust damage has spread down into the furnace body and the heat exchanger tubes. scheduled estimate for replacement between 3-5pm today. set up new cozy maintenance plan.
