It’s as if Corey knew what the problem was before he got here. Within 15 minutes after arriving he had the unit running. He explained everything he was doing as he done it. Great job.
Performed Platinum Comfort Club Membership Tune-Up on Cooling System Downstairs Larger Unit Customer noted a loud noise when the unit began running, found that the compressor was drawing 15 amps. Found that capacitor had failed for both herm and fan. rated for 70/5 and tested at 66.4/3.91 after cleaning coil and replacing capacitor amp draw on compressor was down to 12.9 Pressures were 118/294 with a 12⁰ subcooling and 19⁰ temperature drop Upstairs Smaller Unit Diagnosed failed blower capacitor. rated for 7.5 and tested 6.1 Performed Platinum Comfort Club Membership Tune-Up on Cooling System

CO(O) was at 390ppm and climbing. inducer motor pulling .98amps rated for .9. possible restriction in flue, metal flue pipe is plumbed into the chimney, inspected what is accessible and found no obstruction. inducer motor is also extremely noisy. spoke to customer about the age and safety concerns with system. customer said she plans to replace the system before winter. advised customer about financing options.

arrived to find heat pump in low pressure lockout. reset lock out and system attempted 3 times to start and will not stay running for longer than 10 seconds before cutting off. after 3rd attempt system went into high pressure lockoutwith pressure at 160/250. found suction line king valve to be closed. opened valve and reset lockout, system still only runs for 10 seconds before cutting off, pressures now 155/240. customer installed equipment himself, possible refrigerant restriction. checked with management, we will not assure responsibility for the unit and work on the system due to the nature of the installation, being installed by an unlicensed individual will void warranty.
performed maintenance check. evaluated ductwork recommended replacement of duct coordinated with office and gave verbal quote on both flex duct and hard run duct. customer had groundhog in ductwork previously. found multiple holes in supply and crushed return. roughly 60 ft of total ductwork at 14 inch flex.
Description of work performed for Warranty Customer replaced drive board, main board and compressor. system still not operating. checked with tech support. per Trevor at standard air need to replace outdoor unit. part is covered under warranty customer pays labor for current repair, and to replace outdoor unit. per Trey gave customer 10% discounton total bill
