Our outside unit was making bad noise and when he checked it the noise was no longer present. Like he said it could have been a stick or some other object making the fan noise
Explained options for furnace took pictures and showed us the inside and back of furnace. Very knowledgeable and friendly.
I was very happy when Chris Dehnart was the technician to complete my (2021) checkup. I know Chris as ELECTRTECH, in Marietta. Sorry he is no longer available to fix my household appliances but confident in his knowledge in checking my Furnace. I am also pleased that the individual checkups are again available. I feel the price is reasonable for the added piece of mind.
Clean, courteous, charming and professional. Knowledgeable about their products, patient with customer questions and informative regarding results of inspection and maintenance performed.
Chris Dehnart did an excellent job. Very professional, explained everything very well as to what he was doing, and explaining what could happen in the future, and heads up on pricing so I had and idea of what to expect in the event of the A-Coil needing replaced. Sold me well on the 1 year service plan, with the discounts, and use of it in the future. Covered his shoes to keep the floor clean, and very professional with his work.
Explained every process
I am very pleased with the quality of the work. Technician explained the issue and took pictures so I could see the problem as well.
Chris is very friendly and the service good
Blower motor burnt up, replaced with new capacitor and cleaned the fan assembly. Tested operation, system is old but running good at this time.
Service Call Platinum Clientmultiple problems due to age and condition. There are air leaks right off the inducer that is pushing harmful gases and moisture into the furnace and box and through out the house when operating. Multiple water leaks coming off the inducer, drains, and exhaust pipes (this is the reason for all the water on the floor) Water has leaked overtop some of the electronic components which have been compromised. Blower motor is shot and would need replaced. System cannot be run in its current condition, one of our comfort advisors is scheduled to arrive shortly to discuss replacement options.
Performed Platinum Comfort Club Membership Tune-Up on Heating System Issues were related to maintenance. Filter needed changed 20x20x1 Flame sensor and DSI igniter both had significant carbon buildup. Gas pressure was higher then permitted at 3.8” lowered it down to 3.4” wc
Service Call Platinum Client Customer was hearing a rumbling/screeching noise for 3 days anytime the air handler was running. Found a bad capacitor for theblower motor, but bearing and blower both looked functional and were not currently making any noise. Customer would like maintenance schedule for spring, and would like the RGF plug in installed in February. Will need a Outlet receptacle and pigtail to wire it off the incoming power for the air handler (down flow)
Service Call Fee: AC is not operational, and when it was the drain is out of position so it drained the condensate water down over the furnace. Vent pipe is also not installed correctly with a 20 ft length of horizontal exhaust piping into a old chimney. There was so much rust and deterioration that it jammed up the inducer motor and burnt up the control board. Customer is not the original owner of the equipment and the system is 7 years old. At a minimum the inducer, main control board and heat exchanger would need to be replaced along with a close inspection of the chimney stack and new exhaust. Best option would be to install a new high efficiency furnace and vent out the side of the house to avoid any further complications with the current exhaust and chimney.
