Performed ac cooling check under current cozy hvac agreement

Performed standard hvac tune-up under current agreement. Found cracked heat exchanger on gas package unit. Scheduled a visit for quote on new system between 1-3 today. Renewed cozy plus hvac agreement. Also applied $50 off coupon from brochure.

Dead capacitor and burnt contactor not allowing ac to come one. After replacing both, ac is running smooth with good pressures and cooling.

Condenser coil was extremely dirty causing lack of airflow to the outdoor unit, resulting in heightened refrigerant pressures. After washing the outdoor coil with water hose, pressures settled to acceptable levels for r22 (75/180). Airflow in the house is poor. Supply registers are crushed, haunting airflow even more. Compressor and fan motor on outdoor unit both sound very rough, but unit is now producing cool air. With age and condition of equipment I highly recommend replacing the system soon.

Capped off side return, moved filter rack to top of furnace and connected plenum into return trunk. Capped off return drop. Re-situated flex duct that was kinked over the boards above furnace and strapped it to the bottom of the boards to remove the harsh bend. Added insulation to return drop and plenum. Added insulation to supply plenum. Moved exhaust vent to exit furnace from the side rather than the top to allow for filter and blower access. Re-affirmed airflow and refrigerant charge. Added a few ounces to achieve 12° subcooling.

Renewed maintenance plan to Cozy Plus HVAC. Performed cooling maintenance. System is running smoothly with good pressures. Cleaned ac coil with water hose. Coil was very plugged up most likely due to dryer vent right next to unit. Changed AA213 filter and applied $50 off coupon from CCM Brochure.

Drain trap on Evap coil was plugged up causing overflow to drain out onto the floor.

Found a few setup errors with installation on airflow, TXV bulb, and ac stage wiring. I added a jumper for y1 to y2 to get high stage cooling airflow. Re-seated TXV bulb that was upside down. Adjusted high cooling airflow to 1050cfm +10%. Verified subcooling on refrigerant charge. System seems to be running well and cooling with good airflow at this time.

Replaced service valve. Pulled and held vacuum at 270micron. Weighed in 5lb 8oz of refrigerant. Tested operation. System is running properly.

Dead capacitor not allowing ac to come on. Replace with a new 40/5mfd capacitor and tested operation. Refrigerant pressures look good, and unit is running smoothly.

Standard AC Tune-Up. System is running well, subcooling was low. Took 12.5oz of R-410a refrigerant to correct the charge for 11° subcooling.

There is no voltage coming out of Generac module. Customer will need to call their electrician to service the Generac as it is out of my jurisdiction.

Coil is completely frozen inside from the txv to the lineset. Instructed customer to run only the fan all night and let it thaw, then call us back in the morning.

Verified leak in condenser coil. Attached estimate for coil price and rough estimate for refrigerant amount.

Customer has 10&10 warranty, so parts and labor are covered. In order to replace the indoor TXV and outdoor piston, i will need to pump down the system, replace the parts, replace the existing line drier, pull a vaccuum and release the charge.

Bad contactor had blown 3amp fuse on control board shutting off all operation. Replaced contactor and fuse under 10&10 warranty.

Dead capacitor on 16yo ArcoAire heat pump. Replaced capacitor and perform cooling maintenance under new Cozy Plus agreement. All other checks good. System is 16yo. R22 refrigerant pressures look good at 155/70. Applied $50 off coupon from brochure.

Goodman heat pump low on r410 refrigerant. Corrected charge and verified operation

Customer cannot be home

Furnace drain hose was left unattached from the drain pan trap. Water had been pooling in the inducer cabinet and leaking into the gravel around the crawl space furnace. I reattached the rubber drain hose and secured it with a hose clamp.

24yo Lennox ac unit is low on R22 refrigerant. Unit (3 ton) holds a factory charge of 5lbs. With lineset length about 5.5lbs.

After leak repair, found multiple electronic issues with the board and the expansion valve. Both will need replaced as well as the blower wheel on the indoor unit.

Plugged up drain trap causing a water to overflow. Cut, cleared and reattached drain. Also perform HVAC maintenance under new agreement. Applied $50 off coupon.

Furnace drain accessory is cracked and needs replaced.
