Performed Platinum Comfort Club Membership Tune-Up on Heating System: cleaned flame sensor, checked air filters, cleaner burner and blower cabinet out. good amp draw on both motors. combustion analysis shows safe operation but a drop in efficiency with ~86% on a 90+ furnace. informed customer of low efficiency performance. due to age and drop of efficiency I would recommend replacement sooner than later.
Service Call Platinum Client: furnace heats sometimes but shuts off early. throwing error code for low air flow. removed washable filter and furnace operates fine without airflow code. advised customer to get new, replaceable 1" air filters to replace every 30-60 days.
Performed Platinum Comfort Club Membership Tune-Up on Heating System: cleaned flame sensor, adjusted gas pressure to 3.41 IWC, changed 16×20×1 air filter, good amp draw on inducer motor, high amp draw on blower motor most likely due to previous lack of maintenance. no issues with operation at this time, but may have issues with blower motor in the future. combustion analysis shows safe and efficient operation with 81% fuel efficiency and acceptable carbon monoxide production.
Service Call After Hours Fee: drain line plugged causing water to build up in furnace reservoir not allowing inducer motor to pull a draft. cut furnace drain line and cleared with wet vacuum and reattached with a fernco fitting. after clearing the drain lines, furnace fires with no issue.
