Friendly, courteous and very prompt.
I have been more than pleased with Grogg’s. From the first couple of phone calls to get an appt for a service call, the voices on the line were friendly and prompt in getting me an appt, to the technician, John, working hard to locate and repair the problem, to the salesman, Joe, who was friendly and knowledgeable, helping me to make decisions on which new unit to purchase, and then even loaned window units to use until my new system arrives. This is why I always trust and rely on Groggs and have for years.
John and his team were great and office personnel great also
John was very nice and friendly. He explained everything he found with my furnace and air conditioner and what he did. Also called the office about getting an updated quote for possible replacement of the system.
Very satisfied with your service as I had no AC & serviceman came the same day to repair it. Temperature in my home was 95 degrees & was sweltering. Thank you for your quick response to my problem.
The best of best.
John, the service tech was awesome, and very polite, he found my problem very fast and fixed it...
Had prompt service but the price charged for the part that was replaced was too much. I found the same part for around $50 but was charged more than $200 for it
We recommend Groggs frequently.
Did a good
Service Call Platinum Client-13 yr old trane system. Customer states the suction line was frozen at the condenser yesterday. Refrigerant levels tested good. Filter and evaporator are clean, blower running. Returns are not blocked off and supply vents are open. Contactor has some scorch marks on it and felt hot upon inspection. Replaced contactor. Possible that it did not release when call for cooling had stopped which would have kept ac unit running and freezing up.
Service Call Platinum Client- unit is low on refrigerant again, leak is more aggressive than originally thought. Evaporator coil is leaking refrigerant. Estimate repair cost is $1200-1500 to replace coil under warranty and refill refrigerant. Customers ex husband is retired from hvac and he is going to attempt to get coil himself and do the work. Service Call Platinum Client- evaporator coil is frozen. Condenser coil is eroding away and leaking refrigerant. Unit is 20+ yrs old attached to a newer furnace. Customer has requested an appointment for pricing on a new unit. Estimate scheduled today 9-11 am.
4 yr old American standard, blower motor was struggling on start up. Replaced run capacitor(5mfd) for motor and system sounds much better. Motor replacement estimate is $400-900 depending on warranty status of equipment. Customer has declined blower repair at this time and just want capacitor for now. Refrigerant pressure looked good and temperature drop was good.
