Was with no heat for about two weeks, had part after ordering it and made me wait one week to install it
Service Call Platinum Client: Arrived to find furnace locked out did reset. Did find that customers inlet gas pressure for system 1 was 5.4inwc and system 2 was 7.1 both were fluctuating did notify customer (she has gas from an abandoned gas well) that she will need to call a gas company.
Service Call Platinum Client: Customers furnace would not close pressure switch , did install universal switch did chocked unit multiple times with no issues . Checked pull on inducer 1.55 did run furnace for approximately 30 mins furnace ran fine. Did sign customer up on Maintenance plan and did clean flame rod.
Did preform heating check , customer did state a whining noise . I did hear the noise when the eco motor would ramp into low stage did take amp draw on system did not find any issues indicating a problem with drive. Did run combustion analysis all number met parameters.
Did recommend replacement of furnace (furnace is from 2004 ) and did notice corrosion build up on heat exchanger did notify customer. Do recommend adding surge protection to furnace if trying to get max life. Furnace is only approximately 75 percent efficient
