The professional team at Grogg's Home Services has provided the residents of Belmont, WV with exceptional services since 1970! We are proud to offer great workmanship paired with affordable prices for all of your most important home comfort services. Our services include repairs, installations and maintenance on heating, cooling, plumbing, windows and more that go above and beyond, every time.
The average cost of a new HVAC system is about $7,000, with a typical range of $5,000 to $10,000. This translates to $25 to $60 per square foot of covering, depending on the brand and size. The cost of a new installation will range from $1,500 to $12,500.
Keep in mind that, depending on the state of your present HVAC system, further repairs or upgrades may be necessary to ensure that the new system functions correctly. Additional work, such as ductwork renovation, can have a substantial influence on the overall cost of a new HVAC system. Your HVAC technician will be able to assess your system and give you an accurate estimate on the cost of your new heating and cooling system.
The lifespan of a home air conditioner varies depending on numerous factors. Well-maintained units should last 10 to 15 years. Many systems may be made to last even longer by performing frequent checks and repairs.
When your system is around 15 years old, it's time to start looking at new equipment so you're ready when it's time to replace it. You'll want to learn about the most contemporary, energy-efficient choices available and obtain a price estimate from a certified HVAC professional.
You should anticipate paying around $100 to have your water heater flushed. Given how harmful sediment may be to your water heater, this is a small price to pay. Flushing your water heater at least once a year is recommended, and you may want to have it done more frequently if you live in a hard water area and do not have a softener. If you have a working softener, you can get away with flushing once every couple of years, but flushing more regularly won't hurt. Your plumber can give you an accurate idea of how often you should have your Belmont home’s water heater flushed.

We could not be more pleased with the service we received from Epson Espinosa and his co-worker, Zach. They did an excellent job of installing our furnace and air conditioner. They were very friendly, professional and did a very neat job of installing it all. Epson knows what he is doing and explained every thing to us. We are so happy and pleased with the installation and so far all is going very well. We are just blown away with the product that we have purchased so far and the service we received. Need to mention Seth Miller as well. He was very friendly and explained things to us and gave us some choices to chose from. You should be proud to have these as your employees.

Service Call After Hours Fee-16 yr old heil ac unit. Replaced failed capacitor to get system running. System is running on low suction pressure(85). Customer said he had water on floor by furnace. This would be from the coil freezing. Added some refrigerant to the system but it was not affecting the refrigerant pressure. System has a restriction in the line. We can try pulling a vacuum but there is no guarantee that would fix issue. Customer wants an estimate to replace system, office will be in touch to schedule an appointment.

Arrived to find unit running very hot tripping out on high temp fan speed maxed out. Reduced gas pressure as much as I could still getting heat rise split 68-165 which is way too hot max was 75 degrees @ nearly 100 deg rise with no remaining adjustments outside of major cleaning and duct mods. Recommended new unit
