2002 Rheem split system using 20x20x1 filter. All checks good and in range. Drain trap may be prone to build up, discussed with customers on how to help keep that clean for their pump and went ahead to blow out the line while there. Note for any future tech: dual capacitor outside is odd combination being rated for 60/3mfd. Customer will establish Cozy HVAC Yearly plan today.

Refrigerant leak, topped off. Recommended replacement.

13 yr old Gibson ac unit is low on outdated r22 refrigerant. Customer has requested an estimate to replace the unit. Office is calling to schedule with customer.

12 yr old philco ac unit is out of refrigerant. Customer had unit refilled last year. Left quote to refill and replace evaporator coil. While looking at the furnace I saw that the vent is disconnected from customer hot water tank power vent. They had issues with water tank not working and disconnected the vent. Explained to them that the vent should not be disconnected and they run the chance of carbon monoxide in the home. Told them we have a plumbing department that can work on it for them. They will call in if they want plumbers out. Customer wants a quote to replace the hvac system before making a decision on repair. Estimate is scheduled today at 4pm.

Customer said ac is not cooling. House has 2 systems. Neither are working. Main part of the house has an old ac. Can’t get age because data plate is completely worn off. Best guess early to mid 90’s. Unit needs a new contactor, capacitor, and fan motor. Cannot get the fan motor anymore. Recommend replacement. System in addition is from 2005. Has a restricted TXV. Can order this part. Would take a few days to get in. Told customer I am unable to verify if anything else or wrong with system since it will not run due to restriction. May need more fixed than just txv. Left quote for txv replacement. Recommend replacement of this system. Due to age of both systems and cost of repair on one, replacement of both systems would be the best option.

Cleared clogged drain line. Poured four bottles of water in to ensure it was draining properly.

27 yr old Goodman ac unit is empty of outdated r22 refrigerant. Evaporator coil would need changed to eliminate leak. System holds about four and a half pounds. Evaporator coil is positioned in a difficult location to access. Repair of unit is not recommended due to age, refrigerant type, and condition of system. Customer is getting a quote for replacement today 1-3 pm.

Customer said ac was leaking water. Found loose threaded connection at coil and drain pan is cracked, and some glue joints are leaking. Re michel can order a new drain pan. Left quote for changing drain pan, redoing part of the drain that is in bad shape, cleaning drain line. Customer is going to talk to his wife and will call in to give the ok to order part. Also recommend cozy home plus.

Air conditioning maintenance visit. Performed ductless mini-split maintenance checklist on 2017 Heil observer split system using 16x20x1 washable filter and AA#35 water panel. All checks good at this time. Customer will establish Cozy HVAC plan today

2014 Duratec heat pump has a mechanical failure of the reversing valve. Confirmed that the solenoid for valve is receiving voltage and also that it has resistance. Unit is stuck in cooling mode but home does have backup emergency electric strips for heat. Customer has requested an estimate for replacement so they can weigh their options. Estimate is scheduled Thursday 3-5pm.

Maintenance on hvac system. Customer was curious about duct cleaning and air cleaner. Also spoke with customer about adding surge protection to equipment. Left quotes.

Customer said ac doesn’t cool house. System is low on charge. We’ve been out multiple times to charge the system. Has a significant leak in it. Recommend replacement of equipment due to cost.

Agreement

Replace 1 shut off valve to the toilet, a vanity faucet ( customer supplied)with 2 shut off valves and a shower drain in the bedroom bath. Repair the copper pipe in the basement. Replace a gasket in the toilet in the hall bathroom.

Daikin

Cleaned and checked operation of furnace. System operating properly at this time. Found some dirt build up in blower wheel and recommend cleaning. Quoted pricing for cleaning and ionizer.

Anniversary check of hvac system. Did not change filter today because customer is doing drywall work. Showed customer how to change filter so they can change it after drywall is done. Customer declined repairing vent pipe that is dripping. Explained some functions on thermostat to customer.

Hvac maintenance. System does not have surge protection on it. Also carbon monoxide detector in the home is 23 yrs old and no longer good. Customer provided their own filter.

Replace existing furnace and AC

Arcoair furnace

17 yr old Nordyne has a failing gas valve. I was able to tap on valve to open it up for a short period of time long enough to check combustion analysis. Trying to restart the system the gas valve won’t open up again. Quote to repair gas valve is $750-950 depending on how difficult it is to undo gas line, the hot water tank sits right up against gas line. Customer is getting an estimate on Tuesday morning 9-11 am and will decide whether to repair or replace then.

Replace existing furnace and AC

24 yr old heil furnace. Customer had something ( it sure what it is) blocking the fresh air intake for combustion. Once we removed it the system was able to ignite and start heating. Did heating maintenance today. Customer has requested pricing for a new furnace. Estimate is scheduled today 1-3pm.

Replace Tub Faucet and Mixing Valve and Install Grab Bar

1971 Colman furnace. Customer was unable to get pilot light to stay on. Pilot would whip around when on. I was able to get it to stay lit. Testing for carbon monoxide in supply vents and was reading 17-20 ppm of carbon monoxide. Furnace has been condemned. Customer is getting a quote for a new furnace today 11-1.
