Inducer motor failed. Replaced motor. Checked combustion analysis. Had to condemn unit due to excessive amount of carbon monoxide. Setting up an estimate tomorrow 11-1 for a new furnace. Removed new motor to bring back.
2 10ish yr old lg multi zone mini splits both low on refrigerant found leak in unit closest to the road could not locate leakage in the other unit. System closest to the road has leaking connections at flare fittings will require disassembly of system to repair leak test and recharge. Ballpark 700-1000$. Second system I sealed valves and time will tell if there are any other leaks in that system. Main section of home has no a/c and will not stay cool with current a/c system...
Move outdoor unit to roof, move electric to roof, 50’ line set, disconnect, pad
Flush kit, disconnect, 3 phase, low ambient kit
Arrived and found no low voltage. Immediately determined it was fuse popping from intermittent connection in older style glass busman fuse connector. Bypassed and put a standard blade fuse in. System is operating properly at this time.
Arrived and found both common and run wire burned at contactor. Replaced wires and system started. Pressures were a bit high from partially clogged coil. Cleaned coil and system is operating properly at this time.
Arrived and found compressor shorted to ground and took out a number of other electrical items. Would need to replace compressor, transformer, contactor plus auxiliary and coil sensor to get system functional. **Price Is liable to change due to price and availability of compressor. Due to age, condition, refrigerant type and cost of repairs it may be a more viable option to replace system
Installed new contactor with auxiliary and new transformer. New transformer is bad. Need to return with another transformer.
Arrived and found unit not receiving 24 volt signal due to failed contactor/transformer assembly. Ordering from Sid Harvey.
