Cleaned and checked one year old equipment. Changed customer provided filter and installed surge protection. Customer would like a reminder next month about maintenance plan.

Blower wheel needs cleaned, and upgrading the filter to a 1yr* filter to eliminate the washable filter.

11 yr old Goodman air handler had a mouse in the blower wheel causing bad vibration. Pulled blower to remove mouse and put back together. Customer was using supplemental propane heat and expressed having headaches using it. I checked for carbon monoxide but didn’t find any readings of it. Recommended carbon monoxide detector in the home. They have elected to get one themselves rather than use provide one for them. Customer was also concerned about a burning smell. Smell was coming from dust burning off the electric strips and smell will dissipate.

22 yr old Goodman furnace. Draft motor is receiving constant voltage keeping the pressure switch from reopening to restart the lighting process. Draft motor was very hot from constant running. Also the furnace cuts out after about 10 minutes on high temperature limit. Wires on draft motor are damaged from being pinched against door and motor. Estimate repair of control board is $500-700. Draft motor has a high chance of failing soon from constants running. Estimate draft motor repair is $600-900. Customer has declined getting a quote for replacement and plans on fixing furnace themselves.

No issues found with 2017 York furnace. Unit operates with out fault every time we tried. Checked drain, gas pressure, combustion analysis, and flame sensor. Showed customer how to read code if issue comes back. I checked the outside vent as well and informed them to make sure vent was clear and didn’t have ice formed on it if they have an issue.

Service Call Platinum Client- 2011 Goodman package unit. System was unable to light due to low gas pressure. Increased pressure from 2.4 up to 3.2 inwg. Also cleared out any cob webs that may have been in the gas orifaces. System is up and running now and passes combustion analysis for safe use. System is using well gas that is rough on a system. Customer may want to think on replacing the unit in the near future.

Service No Charge Found 24 v fuse to be blown . Turned u it on into cooling and inspected contactor for a short put unit into cooling to verify, unit did not blow fuse checked for rubouts on furnace did not find any. Replaced fuse and unit ran meeting all parameters. Took amp draw on transformer and only pulling 1.08 amps. Could have been a weak fuse. Furnace isn’t in very good condition their is a lot of moisture in basement.
